Mother: My mother is my rock. She was a stay at home mother during my younger school years. There was always hot breakfast on the table and dinner when we return from school. My mother helped me get over being embarrassed about my height. I was the tallest child in my classroom and I felt out of place. My mother told me to be proud of what God have blessed me with and to this day that never left my thoughts. I am proud of my height. My mother install me and my brothers to stick together to have a bond that no one can break. My mother named me and my sibling with our first initials beginning with “T” and ending with “Y”. There is Trecy, Terry, Tommy, and Tiffany. My mother still spoils me and my siblings today.
Father: My father was the one that installed the family and religion morals into me. My father was very strict on me as a child. I was not allowed to run behind the little boys. My father was not having that. My first time on a date was prom night and I still had rules. But my father has always been in our life he is the rock that holds us together. My parent has been marriage for 41 years so they are my inspiration for a long term marriage.
Siblings: My brothers were my best friend. We were all we had. We ware not allow to stay outside after street lights come on. We were not allowed to go inside other people houses. We did not watch a lot of television or talk on the phone a lot. So we made up games and played all day. I am the oldest so my brothers looked up to me.
Mrs. Vera Carter: Mrs. Carter was my Sunday school teacher and she also a distance
relatives of my father. Mrs. Carter was a mother of 10 children and she was always has show a kind heart. Mrs. Carter was a very positive person always encouraging the youth to be young men and ladies at all time. She was like the grandmother to everyone at church. Mrs. Carter is living in the nursing home with Alzheimer. She does not recognize faces but she is still smiling.
Coach Gloria: This was my volleyball coach in high school. She was the only teacher that pushed me into sports. Everyone had the idea that because I was so tall I need to play basketball. But I did not like basketball so the coach had me to try out for volleyball and I really found myself enjoying it. I became a starter player and was real good at it. She pushed and pushed until she made a star player out of me.
