The show I sat down the other day and watch with my
2 year old son was called Pocoyo. I was really shock that my son took so much
interest in this show. I did not understand Pocoyo himself but you got a clear
understanding from the narrator. Pocoyo is a 4 years curious boys that love to
learn and help his friends Ms Elly the pink elephant, Loula the dog, Pato the
duck and the sleepy bird. This show is very colorful and watching how my two
year old son interacts with it I found that it is an entertaining show to the
little ones. At first when I watch it
without the sound I was thinking it was like Teletubbies that I could not stand
because they did not talk. I never paid attention to the message because I was
angry that they things did not talk, and to me I thought it was a worthless
show teaching children nothing. But now I have learned that nonverbal
communication is just as important verbal communication
Trecy,
ReplyDeleteI forgot about Teletubbies!! They were so annoying BUT they were a great example on non-verbal communication since they rarely spoke. I have never heard of Pocoyo. Was it a bilingual show and would you recommend it to other parents of toddlers?
